Turned-Off

She got up before dawn and recalled the nightmare that disturbed her sleep. Breathe, little heart, she whispered. As if her body would forget to take in air. She turned off the lights and went back to bed. Is there a switch-off button to a woman's instinct? If there is, kindly push it please.
