Vague

VAGUE
Mark Andrew S. Silvestre

The startling sky so ever-changing,
From dreary dark to blue enchanting.
Though the weather be altering,
A glimpse of the glistening sun,
Its brightness cowering upon my face,
Instantly illuminates the mist astray.

But amidst an unwavering display of beauty,
Evident still is the pain entrenched by thine thorns.
Why such an injustice hath been done unto me?
Why, oh, lovely rose hath your color turned pale?
Why?…Why?…Why?…

Thy face so angelic, I remember, the first time I set eyes upon thee.
Carpe diem – the ever-burning sensation from night ‘til dawn.
The symphony of harmonious sound, playing on and on,
As we sang, danced and held hands for so long.

Now I ask, is it but a crime to care for the one you hold so dear?
If ever it is, then your honor I confess – guilty I plead.
But why such an abhorrent punishment I am sentenced to?

Still, no matter how obscure the path may be,
I shall not falter and thus continue this never-ending journey.

A man of reason, inherent with a heart of a lion whose life is solemnly guided by the Almighty One – that is who I am.

Haha! Yup. Kay Mark nga ito. Remember he wrote this when we were in college? I was trying to save it from decaying so I posted it. Really liked it. :)

Miss you too, Cha! Sana naman makapagmeet tayo!
