On the Dating App: Happn

During my dose of girl talk last week, a friend shared that she is checking out this new app: happn. According to the website, through this app: "Every time you cross paths with another happn member in real life, their profile shows up on your timeline...and if you like too, you can start a conversation..."

On that note, I exclaimed: "See, now, even serendipity can be mediated by technology."

This is not necessarily a bad thing though - but, these shifts require new defenses and protective stances - if you do not want to nurse a bleeding heart thereafter.
