To Listen With My Eyes Closed

Such profanity to confess
All-knowing and selfish quest
To listen with my eyes closed
And to vanish before my time.

What an indomitable hubris
Of utmost lies
To assume sole burden
And to build robust wall.

A depraved illusion
Out of this world conjecture
To profess freedom
And to deny love at the same time.
